DarkBASIC Professional Discussion / problem loading BDPro free edition

I had to re-load windows (again) and rather then dig through 200+ DVD's I have stuff stored on, I download a fresh more up to date copy of DarkBasic Pro free edition. Every time I try to start it I get the following message

"the required syntax highlighting file is missing. It will now be built"

this is followed by this error message

"EditorNew.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close"

I downloaded DBProfreeinstaller twice and get the same messages with both copies.

I guess I will have to dig through all my disks to find my working copy. I am passing this on in case someone has some ideaq of what is going on.
