Whats up guys

I just startet working on a sci-fi game in FPSC and thought about some stuff to make my game different from the other FPSC games.

Since it will be playing in a dark abandoned spacestation, I thought about doing something that will light up the whole thing in combats so you know where to shoot.

This requires atleast V119, and some shaders, I used 2 from Uzi Idiot big thanks to him!

I hope you like it

EDIT: Could a mod please exchange the Holographic in the Title to Thermal?

Whoa, nice!
I think I know how you did it, but that looks really awesome, never would have thought of doing that!
Nice work.

Yeah pretty easy to do, just wanted to show something new.

TZK, could you send me a mail if you have some time?
I currently need some help with this effect, I'm currently trying to make it like CoD's thermal vision sights and I'm stuck at 1 single thing

Love it, very nice effect.
It goes one giant step further than just using a tinted 'scope1' image.

All the best of luck and I hope you get it how you want it.

Some really great work there Omegamer, and it's great to see users taking advantage of the newer features.

Thank you, I just love the new features, although I hate it that the zoom animation repeats all the time if you keep RMB pressed, any chances of getting rid of this problem?

Not that I know of . If you try to use mousestate=2 and plraction=2 then all weapons will be zoomed even if they have no zoom feature . also this will conflict with the right mouse button

Wow that's awesome!
It great to see cool stuff like that being done.

If something compiles on the first try. Something is terribly wrong.

Hey, that's not fair, I posted the same thing almost 3 years ago and didn't get that kind of recognition

Hmm, I see, maybe this can be added to the final 1.20?

No problem, it's an awesome way to use the feature (especially if you use alttexture with white for characters to complete the effect), it works with night vision too

Actually I was just doing something with a white texture, but I wanted to do the alttexture when zoomed in-thingy too.

Thanks I'm currently trying to do this on normal soldiers but of course they will even be visible without the scope, but they don't glow, only if zoomed in.

Cool stuff, Omegamer! That last video with the monster being invisible unless you're zoomed in is awesome. That could make for some really tense fights.

Cheesehead for life.
