I would like my gun (non-animated; test purposes)to function as a normal gun. At the entity properties section (opened which right-clicked on an entity), the AI scripts is supposed to have additional scripts rather than three - start, main and destroy. Look at attached for an image showing the properties tab.

You are completely missing a whole other section of making a gun function. What you have there sir is a 'weapon pickup'. You need to look in files/gamecore/guns to see how to properly set up a weapon in the hud. Hope that helped.

I've compared other guns in the gamecore folder and I have all what I need. All sounds, .x files, I (believe) got all of it. I have ripped of some files (sounds and hands - not sure that's really the cause) View the image to see what I have a haven't got.

Thanks

my best advice is to copy a similar weapon then adjust the details to fit your weapon. Other things you need to take into consideration are the positioning of the weapon in the modeler as well as the scale of the model. Heck if the weapon functions and you cant see it, it may be behind the player camera. There are lots of factors involved in this and we simply do not have enough information to help you. Perhaps a bit more in depth description as well as what you have in the .fpe file would help.
