How many people here are using patch 5? i am still using patch 4.1 and was wondering what are some good reason to upgrade to it. my video card can't do any direct x 9 stuff cause its crapy. are there any other benifts to upgrade to it..

The object picking commands are great!

Although, I've be much happier if later patches could 'down shift' to use the lowest level of DirectX needed. My target audience is not power gamers, so DirectX 9.0b is a barrier to some of them.

I don't know why, but after upgrading to direct x 9.0b my video no longer will do any direct x 8.1 commands. Any game that runs dx8.1 will not work, below and above is fine. LOL.
