Is this in the right place? It's about The 3D Game Maker. Im considering getting it but dunno if it works for DarkBASIC Pro for more advance projects.

I read the Key Features of The 3D Gamemaker but can't find anything on the ability to export the program onto DarkBASIC Pro.

I just wonder if thats possible. It looks like it can do many things in making games without the need of programming, but as it provides list and menu's of what you can do then there must be a limit on what you can do.
But if you're able to export your project to DarkBASIC Pro then you could edit the provided games program for various details like gameplay elements and features that 3DGM can't quite do.

If this is possible then while I am sure The 3D Gamemaker is good for making games, with DarkBASIC Pro then it could really help start off some incredible projects, like advance gameplays or more detail functions to the game.

It would certainly help if 3D Gamemaker helps with the meat of making a game and with DarkBASIC Pro can aply advance things. As well as with to those starting out making a game and can learn the inner-mechanisms of a game with DBPro.

no. it's more "point and click" game creation with a lot of pre-sets/pre-fabs (& some media-importing options) along with a number of settings that the user can adjust. there's no code involved and, therefor, nothing to export in the way you're suggesting.

Damn. It's just this project I have in mind plays simular to something like a cross between Sonic Heroes and Kingdom Hearts. But for awhile now I been struggling on the basics of gameplay. I maybe new to programming but getting the jist of it and I believe I can do this if I can just get engine and basic stuff sorted. I was hoping I can make what I can in 3DGM and finish the project on DBPro.

Try the FPSC. Create the levels in that, then use the template to create a DBP game using the FPSC world. Full source code is available for FPSC as it was written in DBP.

So with FPSC and DBPro I can make third person view games?
