No one wanna have a go on this?

I've ironed out the bugs (i think) & updated the game so the UFOs now shoot at you, causing your bat to shrink.

I can recommend the Mouse control.

its good, the UFO's didn't shoot at me though and when you play it in a window half the screen went funny coloured but other than that it was cool!

Have you got a 32 BIT desktop? You'll need to change to 16 BIT for windowed mode (in the readme)

Interesting - so you never saw it like the screenie above? They should shoot quite alote while they're on screen. I added shootyness yesterday and overwrote the zip file on the server. Did you download today or before? You can tell the new version cos itys got "Lmissile.bmp" & "RMissile.bmp" in the images dir.

Also, did it all run silky smooth?

I just downloaded it and the bmps you mentioned above are non-existant and the UFOs don's shoot


I wanted to learn C++ but then I started having nightmares.
I would scream at night, "AHHHHH!!! THE SEMI-COLONS"

nice ... I tried with the mouse, then with the keyboard ... I'm sorry to tell you, It's nearly impossible for me to win with the keybard, it oves much too slowly

By slowly I hope you don't mean jerky as that would be a crime. The mouse is best but the keyboard needs you to anticipate where the ball is going alot more rather than reflexes.
