Newcomers DBPro Corner / setting a background colour

Hi so i am very new to this but i am going through a really good tutorial and I decided to play around with what i have got so far and came up with this program that brings up text in different colors but i can't seem to change the background from black to wight here is my code help please

the second argument (parameter) for the INK function controls the background colour. Also, you must call SET TEXT OPAQUE before blitting the text in order for the background colour to be visible.
