AppGameKit Classic Chat / Using DirectX alongside AGK in Tier2?

So, given the lack of access to information AppGameKit uses for doing various visual and audio actions, I've decided to give raw DirectX a go.

I've included "dsound.h" into my source, and attempting to compile, I'm given the following error:


What can I do to get past this? I obviously can't just ignore an included header file.

I've added a fix for the next version that will resolve the conflict with dsound.h
