Was wondering if i bought ac3d off the game creators site if it would be compatible with the beta108 of the app kit.

i'm assuming since its advertised on the site it would be compatible.

Thanks

I'm not seeing that it supports .obj files (currently the only one usabel in v1082).

And I don't know if TGC has finalized the format for the full 3D animated files.

So, I wouldn't assume that ac3d is compatible and you should probably hold off until we know more about the file format direction AppGameKit is going to go in.

AC3D does export to .obj format. I used it to create the image mapped cube I posted.

I seem to remember AC3D not supporting animations, but I could be wrong. Other than that it seemed a nice program. Blender would be a good option if you can get used to the interface which I find shockingly bad. I try every once in awhile, but always end up closing it down pretty quickly
