I've searched this on the forums, to no avail. So I'll just ask:
can static entities (like a big crate or dumpster)be used to reduce draw distance by covering what's behind it? and what about dynamic entities?

Hi Wandering Eye,

first of all, welcome to the great Apollo forums. And second, sorry but entities cannot be used that way. However, you can use invisible segments if you want to. I'm not a big fan of the invisible segments way because it will only add more polygens to the level you are creating, but I think you should give it a try.

If you don't know anything about invisible segments, then click on this link. http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=162429&b=21
