And current ability or plan to implement audio recording? Especially to a compressed format to save storage space.

No. It does not at this time.

I think they are thinking about adding it in the future.

I hope they do. Would be good to have a network game where people can also talk to other players.

if you use T2 and if your project is for free, use Fmod

I'll be addidng a Pascal module for PC shortly. I'll do Android after that. Mac/iOS will have to wait until I've got a Mac!
