Just wondering how to important maps from 3d world studio into FPSC? Looking to buy FPSC soon as I heard you can use maps from 3d world studio..

Welcome!

If your primary reason for getting FPSC is to use maps from 3D world studio you are better off making a pledge for the FPSC Reloaded kickstarter project which is going to introduce map importing as a fully developed feature. If you pledge about $50 you will get access to the betas for this and the software.

The current / latest version of FPSC does not support maps from 3DWS. The look great but the physics and collision system is not compatible and you will find your player walking through geometry and enemies falling through the floor.

You can make a segment based floor just underneath the 3DWS map but it really isn't what you want for a stable development environment. You will have collision issues all over the place and the game will feel very buggy.

If you support the FPSC Reloaded project, this feature will be there and you will get lots of other needed features into the bargain.
