Yeah !
Like the title said , the next 3DMapEditor Release will be 3.00
Why ?
Simply because I've registered the wonderful BlueGUI plug-in
With the BlueMENU System , I decided to rebuild entirely the editor .

The 3.00 release will be really different from older releases .
It will work using projects and map will be contained in them .

Here is a small snapshot from the development interface from today :

Developpement is actually approximatively at 7%
The project support is 100% completed ( new/open/save/close )
maps support ( save/close/new ) is 75% completed ( load is not ready )
Objects support is 50% completed ( object type is defined and now I add functions for add/remove/move/rotate/scale objects )

when 3DMapEditor 3.00 will be out , new website will appear at http://3dmapeditor.free.fr/ ( free is the web hoster )

What are you using for the windows interface? I've seen one dll which allows you to have a window like that inside a VB project, but that looks much more clean.

Do you bite your thumb at me sir?

Cool, I found the older version useful. Im sure ill enjoy this one. Pro needs a world editor in the worst way.

yes

I think the most important feature ( and it's a major improvement ) will be to have to skin objects using "MATERIALS" . Materials will support all DBPro features ( lightmapping , shaders , etc . . . )
Like Cinema 4D do with material bu revised for DBPro use

@ Rob.K : I've registered your plug-in because I think it's one of the most interesting and important plug-in for DBPro . . . So I'll use it for several planned projects

Uploaded a new snapshot ( see upper )

Now that interface is 99% Completed , I'll start to code the editor itself and all commands . . .

@ Phaelax : Look , the menu are now in english

As being 'the pro version' does this means it isn't for use with Dark basic classic, or is it just a more pro st-out and editor etc?

The ANSWER is out there- but where?

In fact the pro version will be designed for DBPro only !

however , I will add a feature called " Export Map -> 3DMapEditor2.32 "
This will save the map to 3DMapEditor 2.32 ( standart version ) file format but !!!! I will lost data that are not supported under DBv1 and that DBPro support !

The development is actually in standby . . .
It will be continued after Alienware competition as I develop a game for . . .
