Well 500gb in two days would certainly be impressive for us, but if the bandwidth usage had carried on for the rest of the month yes we would have exceeded that by the 30th of November.
Nick and I took a 'client' down the pub tonight and have secured a deal that has ensured the long term surviveability of our website. It will be a few days until the site is back up because we need to release the domain name from the current hosts.
The deal works for us because our client does not want excessive advertising plastered all over our site and our games just as much as we dont want to put them there. I've always said that I want to avoid adverts and flashing banners on the Banshee page, and I intend to keep delivering on that promise.
We will in time place a small discreet advert for them next to the download buttons for our games, and that will be sufficient for them and we feel that is a small price to pay. We're also slapping their name onto our race suites as we're relaunching our kart team next season, but as they're already plastered with sponsors in our total sell-out approach to racing we dont mind that at all
God created the world in 7 days, but we're still waiting for the patch.
