I am using FPS creator free and I am making a slender man map and I need my dynamic model of slender man to follow me, could someone give me a script or tell me how to apply a character script to a model.

@Shadowclaw257
The AI from the FPSC series "Slenderman's Shadow" will have the Slenderman AI released soon, I suggest you wait until then. I myself have no idea how it was done. Good luck.

Making an NPC (Non Player Character or a character controlled by the computer), following the player in FPS Creator is very easy, all you will need are simply put your character in your game level and setting it up as one of the examples attached.

Please note that I used in the example the character Conker (Unarmed), but in your case, you should use the character you want to follow the player in your game level.

You can test both settings and decide which one would be best for your game.

Importantly, after changing some configuration in the entity property's inspector, you must click the Apply button for your changes to take place.

I hope this can help.

Have fun!

I think what you've given here is just a simple "follow" script, I think what Shadowclaw257 is looking for is a more slender styled AI. If you're not sure what I mean, look up the Slender games.

Actually, I did not know this game called Slender. Today by morning (in my time zone) I saw some videos on the internet about that game; a kind of terror and thriller set in the middle of a dark forest, where one person using only a flashlight without any kind of gun collecting scattered messages. Then suddenly the player is attacked by the Slender. Wow, very scary game play!

Let's think about it: Who would be crazy enough to walk into a forest alone at the middle of the night, unarmed with only a flashlight reaping messages scattered everywhere?

In my opinion, I think, in fact, the Slender it does not following the player; however, it is spawned through trigger zones spread throughout the game level(woods) and in the darkness; therefore, he could appear anywhere invisible and attack the player suddenly.

The sound effects give the feeling that it(Slender) is following the player, but it is not because the character actually is being spawned and destroyed through the various trigger zones scattered in the game scenario.

In the case of Shadowclaw257, I believe if he wants to make a game-like Slender he will have to code the AI for Slender character unfortunately, because it will be very difficult or almost impossible to find out some AI script ready to use and drop it in game he wants to do.

Cheers,

Northern
