Before I start, I have searched for my issue and found no help thus far. I have installed dark physics, ai, lights, and extendz. I put in the activation codes with no problems. When I hit the check installed modules, it says (valid certificate) next to all but extendz, but its icon is lit up, so I assume its working. Now for lights, ai, and physics, the icons are not lit up.

What I have done:
-reinstalled all the plugins after activation codes
-checked the file directories to see if all the proper files were there

I am using v7.62, possibly related v u77 will not install for me, it says that dbp is no installed.

Thanks for any help in advance

Are you running installs in Admin mode?

I am assuming you are on Vista/7/8

If XP, I cannot help further...

I have a detailed tutorial on my blog...

But the gist of it is...

During install depending on your antivirus software... Disable it... Some are over protective... And often label you as the virus...

Use another directory location for all TGC or most or just DBP like C:\THE GAME CREATORS\DBP

This will sit outside of the protected Program folders... Protected by Windows as a course of protection...

This will also remove the need to disable UAC...

Ensure you install all plugins before actIvatIng them... Or run the licencing procedure again... Ensure that upon installing new plugins... You run the editor for DBP in admin so that it can process the keywords etc...

Umm let me know if you struggle some more...

And believe me I can guess you thinking... But I want to install to he default location... Trust me you soon grow out of that one lol...

Hope this helped...

figured it out, this is what was happening.

When I installed the expansions none of the folders went into my dark basic pro folder, the saved themselves to my c: for some god knows why reason.

If this ever happens to anyone else and they do a search here are the folders I had to manually move

-compiler
-dbTemp
-editor
-help
-projects

Thanks for the attention MrValentine, but its time for me to play with my new toys

EDIT: Thanks alot MrValentine for your time and effort, you must have posted just before I did because I didnt see it when I wrote mine hope you stick around because I am sure I will be on here for lots more help
