Hi everyone!!
I have an odd problem with fpsc..I'm using the fpsc community mod by TZK, but everytime I try to test or build a game the whole thing crashes telling me that it was forced to close and that I'm building a too large level..the problem is this happens even with only one segment placed..it just won't start..the loading bar is empty and there's nothing written under it..the weird thing is that this happens only with the modified sources, no matter what version of fpsc..i've even tried project blue on 1.17..the same. But if I use the vanilla exe it works like a charm..I don't know what to do..I've thought that maybe those modified versions need some dll files I was missing, so I've downloaded mfc71.dll, mfc100.dll and msvcr71.dll and placed them inside the same folder as the exe..but it didn't worked..do you guys have any idea?? Btw, I'm on windows 8 pro 32bit..

it is important to use the corresponding map editor with the version of the mod, failure can cause what you are describing.
and also I don't know how FPSC is handling windows 8, that may be an issue or not.

are there any other error messages with your crash, if not you may just have a mixture of files from different versions.

If you are experiencing problems with the mod, it would be best to email me as well as post a thread, as sometimes I do not see these threads.

This seems to be a common problem for some, and is apparently related to the registry. Do you experience this problem with the latest stock FPSC? If you do, I recommend contacting Lee.

I don't think Windows 8 is the problem, because many other users have had no problem with FPSC on win8. It's a very strange problem for sure.
