So I used Newton 1.53 for physics and find out that it works correctly only with small object sizes ( like 1 - 50 units in DB Pro , so if you create box or barrel its size must be like 1-7 ). But i used sizes in centimetres like character height = 180 box size = 70. I find it rather useful... But Newton cant work correctly when big sizes.Object collide but after some time objects falls thruw each other.So if anyone had this problem? Like this http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=179965&b=1 Or i have to use small object sizes anyway?

Why use a Newton 1.53? 2.33 is out now... also we have DarkDynamix and DarkPhysics or are you using the built in ODE?

I say this mostly because I never got familiar with what Newton physics was, I always presumed it was the ODE... if someone can clarify this for me, I shall no longer be unaware

Thanks.

[And a pre-emptive to anybody saying DarkPhyics is also out dated or discontinued, it still works for most things, but I am waiting for DarkDynamix to go on offer... or until I have the cash for it... and also it is still in the works as far as I can see ]

@MrValentine- Newton is not ODE!

1 Newton Unit = 1 Meter and that cannot be changed. With floating point math you probably want to keep things small anyway, for more accuracy. The best thing to do is scale down your world.

I have used larger objects than I should (a 40 meter wide marble rolling around) but I have never had an issue with objects falling through each other. Make sure you have the World Size set correctly. Check your code setup with the demos provided.

If it requires a wrapper... Then I guess it is... But the latest Newton release is 2.33...
