Hey,
I bought Dark Occlusion, and I am trying to use it, but it says "Could Not Understand Command at Line X". I have tried re-installing everything, but I have the same problem.

In the editor, it does come up in blue text, meaning it is recognized by the editor. I have tried another editor and I get the same error.

I tried with Dark Physics as well, and that works. It is only Dark Occlusion that doesn't.

It is running in Administrator mode, and after I installed, it did build keywords.

Specs:
Windows 8 64-Bit
Intel i7 860
8GB DDR3 1600Mhz
AMD Radeon 5770 1GB
OCZ Agility 3 120GB SSD
Samsung SPinpoint F3 1TB
Asus P7P55D-E Motherboard

Many Thanks,
Matt

Where did you install DBP?
Did you create an antivirus exception for the DBP folder?
Which version of DBP are you using? U77 works fine for me...

Did you put the plugin in the correct folder? And have you activated it?

OK well I think activation is the problem. I activated my Dark Physics and it works fine now, but how do I activate Dark Occlusion? It doesn't even come with a key...

From Rudolpho...

Did you try manually extracting and placing?

Can you give us your DBPro folder structure? where did you install it to?

I would suggest you did not install DBPro to C:\ as I guess that is your OS drive... [is that the SataIII version of the Agility III? Same as mine then haha

hmm...

Dark occlusions does not have a DLL for the plugins folder, not yet anyway...

Can we recap, what's not working properly?

did you include the Occlusion files at the top?

Quote: "
// Include the Dark Occlusion Library
#Include "Dark Occlusion/Dark_Occlusion/Dark_Occlusion.dba"

OC_StartFrom("Dark Occlusion/Dark.Occlusion")

// Start Dark Occlusion
OC_Init()
"

It happens, not to worry

Just bear in mind, there is a thread for DO and I think you should follow it as there is a DLL version out soon...

Glad we got moving forward
