Has anyone else had problems with Fullscreen Exclusive Mode crashing in certain resolutions? I can only get 1024x768 to work, anything else crashes, anyone found a way round this?

That isn't really the desired result, I'm using that method now, exclusive mode eliminates screen tearing and generally looks a lot smoother

Isn't that what the vsync flag is for?

Quote: "SET DISPLAY MODE
This command will set the screen display mode if it is available on the current graphics card.

Syntax

SET DISPLAY MODE Width, Height, Depth

SET DISPLAY MODE Width, Height, Depth, VSyncOn

SET DISPLAY MODE Width, Height, Depth, VSyncOn, Multisampling Factor, Multimonitor Mode

"

What 3rd party plugins do you have? I've had this issue before myself, trying to remember how I fixed it.

IIRC, Cloggy's D3D text plugin caused a crash for me when switching to exclusive mode or changing screen rez.

I decided to stick with fullscreen windowed... I'm actually quite glad I did, as the application seems to behave in a more 'friendly' fashion with Windows. Of course, it does run slower but I was prepared to put up with that - D3D's text commands are great!
