With Black Friday and all I was looking into buying the cheapest non-contract android phone I could find. It needs to be touch screen, have a new enought android os that it works with agk, and run games well (it's for testing and porting my game to android). I'm not an android guy (I only have an iPhone/iPod touch) and there're sooooooo many different android devices available, so does anyone have any suggestions of phones (or tablet for that matter) that meets my requirements.
Alternatively, if you know of a site that you can get old androids on please tell me about that. And please keep In mind I'm looking for a cheap device.

Ebay is full of them!

I suggest an gingerbread device as android sandwich is bad for agk.

Look for a phone with around 800mhz to be able to see how it runs on the most comon devices.

htc wilfire is a phone called in sweden that probably suits you?

Android 2.3 , ZTE Skate , 480x800 , 800 mhz , Samsung Galaxy Y , 240x320 , 832 mhz , Sony ericson arc 480x854 , 1 ghz
Android 4.0 , Dmtech 3g 9738B , 1024x768 , 9.7 inches , 1.2 ghz

A cheap Android Tablet is the N70. Ran AppGameKit better than any android device I have seen to date, and is really cheap! No problems with AppGameKit using either Icecream sandwich or jelly bean on this. The N70-s variant is not as good from what I have heard, but can be got for even cheaper.

There are 2 models, Wildfire and Wildfire-S

I have the former, which is the original, it is not great with AppGameKit, or many other games. Angry Birds and Dragon Fly are terrible on it. Maybe the Wildfire-S is much better, it's about 2 years newer.

Cool, thanks for the suggestions! I'm planning on getting the window n70s android 4.1 tablet (suggested by DVader). It looks like the best value for the cost. Plus I already have and iTouch (which is like a phone) so a tablet will be nice to have.
Lol-I just got my new iPod, this free Ultrabook, and soon this tablet, It's like CHRISTMAS in November for me!

If you get a device, make sure it DOESN'T have Android 4.2 (or DON'T let your device update to it).

That Android version is extremely buggy and has been causing problems in all sorts of ways.
