I keep getting an error with AppGameKit v1.08, when I try to compile anything.
The error is 'Failed to load OpenGL extension glCreateShader'
it then says 'Your graphics card does not support on or more OpenGL features required by this program Please check if there are any driver updates available for your card'. I updated the drivers, but I keep getting the error. I can compile with v1.07, but not 1.08
Can anyone help me?

I will ask around TGC and get back to you ASAP.

EDIT: It seems that the main difference with V108 is that we use OpenGL 2.0 shaders which means older OpenGL 1.1 cards will not work. You should look to see what OpenGL your card supports, if there are no OpenGL 2.0 drivers for your card then v108 will not run.

That X300 is 9 years old, and I doubt if the ATI legacy driver will include OpenGL 2.0

According to this http://www.kludx.com/card.php?card=33 the card can support OpenGL 2, although I don't know where you'd find a driver for such an old card.

If it's not a laptop I would seriously consider getting a newer graphics card. The driver situation is a bit confusing. There are newer drivers but the ATI site seems to think the legacy driver is the one.

I tried redownloading and reinstalling the driver (from http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Legacy/Pages/radeonaiw_vista32.aspx?type=2.4.1&product=2.4.1.3.13&lang=English). It seems to be working now. The PlayVideo() function doesn't seem to be working (in the example project) but it doesn't come up with an error, and the 3D example works. I downloaded the Full Software Suite from the page, It said that the drivers were already installed (from when I installed them before), but I overwrote them and I works now. Here is the info from the Catalyst Control Centre:

Driver file: atikmdag.sys (8.1.1.882)
Card type: ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050
Driver Version: 8.593.100.0
Adapter RAM: 128.00 Mb

SOFTWARE DRIVERS:
Catalyst Version: 10.2
2D Driver version: 8.01.01.882
Direct 3D Version: 8.14.10.0647
OpenGL Version: 6.14.10.8545

Thanks for all your help.
