First of all, if someone already posted this idea somewhere please forgive me, I didn't see it then.
Well, I'm currently working on a new game of mine and what I really need yet is a good looking flashlight effect.
When I was thinking about it I just had the idea if it would be possible to create a flashlight-like effect with a fitting shader?
So as example, that you have to press 'F' to activate/deactivate this effect.
That everything near you would look lightened up (bloom effect, not actual dynamic lights) and everything more far away completly dark and maybe with a DoF effect?
Is this actually possible and/or is there anobody who'd like to try this?
I'd like to do/try it myself but I cannot shaderscript.
