I have just started using dark shader so I decided to follow the tutorial that comes with fps creator model pack 22 (the gory one)

I followed the tutorial to the letter however, the moment I set my shader as darkshader_template.fx the model dissappears and I can not go any farther.

if I use a default shader I dont have a problem, but I want to use the one designed for the model pack.

also I would like to know how to get rid of the preview background as the tutorial has a plain grey one that would be easier to work on.

If someone could help me with this I'd be very happy.

That can happen if your shader doesn't compile.
Have you verified that it indeed does (for example through using the DarkShader editor)?

Okay thanks but I literally started using fps creator 2 days ago as well as dark shader.

If you mean did I check to see if the shader worked on Darkshader.exe that is where I have the problem.

spesificaly my problem is at around 1.40 on the video tutorial for bond1 the shader loads and you can see the changes, I however cannot see the model at all anymore.

if someone could explain a few things about sorting this kind of problem then I would be very grateful as I want to make something that plays off of dramatic lighting effects.
