Ok I have been looking for a solution everywhere and havent yet found one. I am trying to make a custom ammo hud that shows pictures instead of numerics. For this I am trying to make it special to each gun (example: Shotgun= shotgun shells disapear with every shot, same with rifles but only with bullets instead.) I have already mad some DDS images but still cant figure out how to make this work, any help??

Ok go to files\languagebank\english\gamebank\mygame\levelsetup

You'll notice the first several lines define the default huds. i.e. health, ammo,weapon, etc

What you'll have to do is write a script that displays the hud you'd like. You'll have to do an image for each round fired.
and have a line for each round fired. YOull also have to change the numeric hud for the ammo to display an image hud.

Look here I did a similar hud with health. I did it a little different I deleted most of the stock hud definition lines and added my own. I have eight huds each displayed when the health gets between a certain range. Whats cool is you can also add the setposteffect command when the player health gets say below 25.

While going over the setup level script I noticed that these numerics/huds are made for the entire level and my problem is trying to making them show up for certain guns. How can I change images for different style guns because I dont want to have shotgun shells for a sniper.

Great health effect though!

So do you want to have images of bullets to represent you ammo.

This is could be interesting. By the way,love your animated health bar. Great work!
Could he used a couple internal variables such as "$CA-Player’s ammo in gun" or "$A-Player’s total ammo" for something like this?
To show and unshow his HUD's.

Yes, however I want different pictures for different guns and im terrible at scripts so making this simple would be very helpfull.

Took awhile, but was able to display a custom "ammo shell" hud for the mossberg shotgun. The script i finally made is long and sloppy, but works. With each round fired, shell hud count decreases.Working on using maybe a variable to diplay the hud's.
Made a new thread on this matter under "Scripts" forum "Ammo HUD".
