what make these characters and eai characters so great is that their hands. yes they have hands form that holds the weapon. this is a upgrade from the stock models ww2.the way they die is way better than ragdoll effect. these models are awesome thanks to BSP.this pack is worth buying with 20 weapons to choose from 42 characters. there was a lot of work put into this pack. I have to say over the years the people who make model and model packs for fpsc have improve their skills.texture, details and animation. which improve us on how we make fpsc game.Im going to keep showing my appreciation by keep on supporting these packs and give thanks to you all. have a marry Christmas you model pack makers.

more than what meets the eye

There aren't any hotlinks for this model pack and model pack 67, I just thought I should mention. Great pack as well by the way, but wrong genre for me sorry.

Great looking Pack and I love the new 'stooping walk' animations not to mention all the other new animations included.

I wish you the best of luck with this.

Video makes it look good. I'd like to know more about that plane flying through the air? Is it part of the pack or was it gotten elsewhere? And where?

THEORY - you know everything but nothing works. PRACTICE - when everything works but don't know why. For me, theory and practice are combined: nothing works and I don't know why.

I'd guess it was from here.

There's no problem that can't be solved without applying a little scripting.

Thanks Blackfox. I remember now that's the pack I'm waiting for.

@F l a t l a n d e r

This model pack contains only characters and weapons. I'm still working on the second part of this pack that will contain other things (including flying airplane).

So everyone has an Idea, I tested these guys out. They are really cool. The Scripts are working in V119.

The allies work prety good, you can tell them to follow or stay. and when they do follow they move around objects (like checking things out) not like little robots following your exact location. They seem to have Life. With these Guns, the pack is really fun just playing around. Im going to create a Simple Map, pack it and let you guys see. This week end when I have more time.

Hi

I bought the pack. Its really great and I will use it in one of my projects for shure. Anyway here are two issues:

The shaders look much to shiny and wet. I prefer to change it to "phong_bump_specular.fx". The characters look more realistic that way.

The "rotatehead" functions do not work. Probably the bones names do not fit the conventions. This would be VERY NICE to be fixed, hum?

Apart from that - again - nice stuff!

All characters use "skinning_norm_spec.fx" and maybe they are too shiny if you add too much light. However you can use your own shader. As far as I remember, "phong_bump_specular.fx" did not work on my PC, therefore I didn't use it.

The shaders are completelly off, cloth does not look like that, the specular is very subtle.
Otherwise i like the work they did with these characters, well done

skinning_norm_spec.fx is a good and capable shader but it is hypersensitive on the spec. maps.

When using it, spec. maps often need to be both rather dark and inverted/complementary-colored to get a matte or low gloss look to anything.

gamefront.com doesn't work in my country (and in more than 30 other countries too), therefore I decide to make my own small level today by using the latest beta of FPSC to show you some characters in action and then, upload it on sendspace. I noticed that v 1.19 isn't not too good for this pack, because all characters (not only from this pack but also stock characters) are a bit overscaled. However, mentioned issue was fixed in 120 update and everything works fine now. Here is a link to my small build: http://www.sendspace.com/file/d03idj

Hi there
I just wanted to say that i am pleased now. I darkened the D2 and S textures a bit. For some WW2 winter scenes i modified some textures to snow camo. See attachment.

@BSP
Would you mind if i post them for the community?

You could just change the shader from skinning_norm_spec.fx to bumpbone.fx

I have nothing against it. Great work BTW.

Do the characters in this pack support lip syncing in FPSC?

I just got it
great stuff

1 thing bothers me, why is the installer different, it doesnt give options to install/ extract it seperately like the other packs do?

Does it mean that the usage of the models is limited to FPSC(R) only?

or did TGC forgot about the extra function in the installer... if u guys just forgot about it, plz correct it.
Thx for taking the time
