I was looking over how to create fractals and of course the mandlebrot set shows itself, so I take a look at this video and it has to be one of the coolest things i've found on youtube yet.

Assuming a 13 inch screen, which is what I have, and putting it on fullscreen, the size of the original set by the time it's zoomed in is about 3.5 x 10^258 lightyears. That's 35 followed by 257 zeroes in lightyears - much, much bigger than the observable universe, which is about 93 billion lightyears (only 9 zeroes)
