So i had it working for a while, then i let a friend rewrite a few lines of code to get chat working, and suddenly players are no longer able to see each other.

This is based off the cube example.

Any help is appreciated.

Be sure you send and receive players positions in your main loop (test your variables).

I believe you already do this but I can't find the Y position, players may be positionned too down on the Y axe.

Eternal suffering ...

From the looks of things your networking is setup fine.

The only thing I see if that when you get message from server to position other players you have the Y position to 0, whereas when you handle the controls to move the Camera its positioned relatively to Camera Position Y. Regardless of if they start at the same place, the other players will be placed on y=0 where the client's player could be at y=1000.

I strongly suggest sending the y position along side the x and z. Even if you don't plan on moving the other players up and down, you might want to in the future.

See if that works.
