I am seeking to create notes that the player can veiw ingame. I thought I heard about a program a while back that let you veiw notes inside FPSC. So I was wondering someone could direct me in the right direction. Thank You.

LOL.

If by notes you mean text, click the banner below and go to 'Tools and Utilities'. There you will find a program called 'TextEase'.
If you're searching for something else then....
nevermind.

Brian.

If you want to use on screen image HUDS then check out the link below:

Not sure if this is what you wanted though but its another method of getting text on screen.

Yes, thank you very much. It was exactly what I was looking for. My last question though is what program should I use to make the hud image?

Any image editing software which supports 'layers and Alpha channals' such as 'Adobe Photoshop' and there are some 'free' programs like this such as 'Gimp'.

Good luck.

I had always used Gimp for my huds. However, it's gotten more complicated for some reason to use. There most current version is not as intuitive. I may go back to an older version if I can find it.

I also have Corel PaintShop Photo Pro. I mainly use that for my phtography however and not huds. Adobe Photoshop would probably be better. I'd try Gimp first. I suppose you can get a trial version of Photoshop.

THEORY - you know everything but nothing works. PRACTICE - when everything works but don't know why. For me, theory and practice are combined: nothing works and I don't know why.

I use explosoft's TextEase. However, I think it could be improved by allowing more controls such as colour and bold, italics & underline. But it's been working for me for a long time, I'd recommend it.

Cheers,
