i have a few questions

first: i made a huge code for a game, it used to work fine but now whenever i run it my computer just shuts down, why is this happening

second: i was doing some test to determine what is the best way to make a sliding collision world, i tryed bsp but when i use the bsp collision hit(index number) command it doest return nothing, even it my object is colliding with the bsp the command returns alway a zero, why is this.

third: i just found the atomic glory dll, how is this working for you people.

fourth: or is it just better to use the native, hard way of making a huge world have sliding collision, meaning making all the walls by hand (make object box bla bla bla) and then using the get object collision(x).

what do you think.

look at the .bsp example, that should give you some pointers
the nuclear glory collision .dll works very well in the example(i haven't tried to use it myself)
screw the 4th way, why bother?

Personally, I like the 3rd best, but that would be expected from me right? lol, but seriously, the upgrade about to come out in 1-2 weeks is going to be totally excellent. It has ellipsoid-2-ellipsoid collision and improved everything.

The nice part about it too is that with X models and the NG dll you don't have to worry about making your geometry a certain way for collision to operate properly.

We intend to use the collision system we're designing as the base for all of our future projects. So we'll be using it heavily ourselves.

Best wishes.

nuclearglory's Dll is just so nice to use, just give it a try. Their solution is one of the best, infact the only solution if you want to using Cartography Shop in DBpro. I Can't wasit for the new version to come out!
