hate to tell you all but CAKEWALK is already a software package for Midi editing/creation. erm, thinking you can't use that title. Would be nice to check these things before sending off a pack of hungry graphics/logo making wolves to do a task that, in the end, will have to be redone.

just mho

I think rich should ad a timer to the profile to see how much of our lives we waste on the forum. I know I'm on here almost everyday for some reason.

I know Cake Walk is a Midi package,
hell here's the link to the site http://www.cakewalk.com/.
My product is not called cakewalk,
it is call 3D Cakewalk Game Development Kit, shorten down to 3DCW, 3D Cake Walk.

Arrows right, I do have a life.
DarkBasic is not part of it anymore, but only because I chose the harder language c++. I also just had a baby a few months back and I am teaching him how to crawl.

The engine is still in begining stages, and a proto-type shall be done in 3 or 4 months (I Hope). No screens are ready yet. You guys can check out the temp site at www.3dcakewalk.dtagames.com I will post some updates there, but most will be on my forum [href]www.dtagames.com/phpBB2 [/href]I am also looking for people to beta test this for me in 3 or 4 months and with in 9 months tthe finle should be around. I have 3 people with PHD's in Computer Science (c++) helping me with this!

You can read up on the features of the engine, on my forum, under products/3D Cake Walk (look at my smilies).

Anyways, I need peoples logo's within 2 months!

Thanks!

I don't see any problem with the title, "3D Cake Walk Game Development Kit" and "Cakewalk" aren't similar enough to breach the trademark. Possibly if it was "3D Cakewalk" but that one space is enough to save him

Lol, I can't be on every hour of each day, megaton. I, too, have life composed of other things than a software related forum (Work, Sleep, Reading, Video Games, and D&D; in that order).

Life is comiting yourself to not just one thing, to take the time to enjoy a varity of things and interact with others. By focusing soully on one thing you are dening yourself a vast amount of experiances. To live a broad range of experiances is the best way to enjoy life, by focusing one only one accpect of it, you are wasting it.

Ask Indi. He stopped doing it for free a few years ago when DB'ers abused his good natured free service (not that they didn't like it, but kept wanting more and more, all for free). You never know, he may want to resurrect his talents for DB logos one last time. Heh, probably not many will remember, but pretty much all Indi did in the beginning (large font made out of stone for that one) was do logos for people. Nice bloke.

Hmmm, vaguely remember Touchdown boy was also pretty good with logos. Pretty positive a did me a quick nice logo a couple of years ago.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing
