I found this awesome webcomic when browsing Reddit the other day, though it would fit in here quite well.

Here it is:

That's pretty inspirational. It could be useful to anyone planning on making their New Year's resolution to create more awesome stuff.

I think this helps too >> Keep Running Up That Hill.

True, but the comic was about twice as long as it needed to be.

How do you figure? Not accusing, just curious.

Well after the "they quit" part, it goes on and on about simply trying or pushing forward. The message isn't wrong, but I felt it reiterated the same point over and over rather than just moving on to the final point. The first square about pushing beyond the desire to quit was sufficient, it didn't need to tell us 10 more times.

This could have been done in a less drawn out and more sincere way. I keep imagining the author drawing this thinking to himself "this is going to get so many upvotes!"

The quote was taken verbatim from "Ira Glass on Storytelling", not made up by the artist(youtube link). I think he did a rather good job of it, though I certainly don't share ionstream's cynicism.

My wife and I liked it. Thanks for sharing.

There's no problem that can't be solved without applying a little scripting.

The comic needed to be this long. The people that don't quit get it early. The people that do quit need to have the remainder of the message shoved down their throat. It's the perfect length!
