is there any way to make the engine move from level to another by only loading not by winzone like what we all see in halflife 1 it just load to move to the next level.

Not currently.

There's no problem that can't be solved without applying a little scripting.

You could sort of cheat by having a screenshot of the winzone and having that as a loading screen for loading the next level, then have the winzone from the previous level as the start of the next level. Not sure how effective it would be though.

That's an awesome idea Nicky, I got to see that for myself.

Somehow I don't understand the question even though it seems everyone else does. But I am intrigued by the mystery.

I believe the closest way to pull it off (currently) is Nickydude's solution, but the winzone would still make the screen fade to black before loading the next level. It's close, but not exact.

If you want to pull off Nicky's idea and want the best results, you would be best taking a screen of the level you are about to start and using that as the loading image.

So, build the game
The level starts
before you touch anything - don't move the player - take a screen shot
use that screen shot as the loading image for that game.

The player will always start in the same place and see the same thing as soon as the level loads.

If you were to have a screenshot of the win zone, the player could enter that in all manner of different ways or angles making the loading screen look like it jumps into place rather than fading into the level.

That's my opinions anyway.

Hi

Yes, this works fine. I did it that way plus blurring the screenshots a bit to get that half life style feeling...
