Looks really stunning. Very cool indeed. How long has this been running? Why did you prefer the Leadwerks engine over DGDK? How are you finding SQLite as your database engine?

Keep on going!

@ biohazardNL,

Everything Chris Tate said/asked.

- and especially would like to know how you are finding SQLite as a database engine for your game - particularly in relation to RPGesque aspects.?

a long time dabbler with DBC and DBPro with no actual talent but lots of enthusiasm...

Thanks! this is very motivating, to make the game not only look stunning but just to make it really stunning!

@Chris Tate
I've been running this project for like 1.5 year now. I started with using FPSC but in like 4 weeks I discovered that FPSC wasn't too powerful enough so I was browsing the net and saw that leadwerks engine is not only powerful but also customisable to the max. everything can be changed, with C++, C, C#, VB.net, LUA, Delphi, pascal and BMAX. so there is no limit. also I'm using EKIONE as AI engine, as far as I know DGDK didn't supported it (using the studio licence for it)

For my choice in SQlite3... it was the best choice I've made so far. this really allows me t do everything I want. the graphics could be changed live and all player attributes too. It even allows me to make use of weapon customization (HINT ) and also MOD allowance (Second HINT! ).

for RPG elements; it makes it really easy to update every line, I can even make the story change if I like too depending on what the player chose.

Wish I started out with Leadwerks before; sounds really sophisticated. I tend to avoid making changes whilst refining what I already have; which is why I'm still using DBP (with a little bit of VB.NET, PHP, XML and LUA)

Looking forward to seeing the progress.

Ah yeah I understand about that one.
LUA is my core game language though, for the progress I mainly will update the indiedb page and for the really big updates I will update here too if the thread Isn't locked by then.
