1. What version of AppGameKit are you using?
2. Are you working in Tier 1 or Tier 2?
3. Are you using the default splash screen and is the file named exactly 'AGKSplash.png'?
4. Are you using a Player and broadcasting from the AppGameKit IDE?
5. If 'yes' to 4, where did you get your Player from?

most probably the problem is filename case related

make sure the splash filename is named AGKSplash.png not agksplash.png or anything else

The AGKSplash.png file will only work in tier 2 or when compiling the tier 1 interpreter with your byte code file. This is because the player has already started when you broadcast apps to it so the splash screen has already displayed.

kirtn14, please answer question 5, since the one to 4 was yes. That may be the most important one.

However, as an AppGameKit developer pointed out, you will never see your AGKSplash.png file when broadcasting because the Player running on your device would have already gotten past the point where the splash screen is displayed. The Player does NOT display the default AGKSplash.png when running a broadcast app.

In any event, if you used the Player from Google, it won't work well with broadcasting from v1076.

The v1076 Android Player on this page works just fine with broadcasting from a v1076 AppGameKit IDE. You can open that page directly on your Android device and install the Player from it. You don't need to uninstall your other Player (but, if it is from Google, you should, since it is not compatible).

The AGKSplash.png (spelled exactly like that) goes in the <andproj>/assets directory. You can also include it in the <andproj>/assets/media directory, just to be safe.

Make sure that your byte code file generated from the Windows AppGameKit IDE has been properly renamed to exactly "bytecode.byc" and is in the <andproj>/assets/media directory.

How are you getting the apk file generated by Eclipse onto your Android device?

So your app is already on the market? Even when you can't get it to work? I'm confused.
