Hello, something makes me wonder, I never used a "_D" texture but always a "_D2" in conjunction with "_N" and "_S/_I" maps for use with Bond1's shaders for segments and static entities ( this applies also for all of his shaders ).


Actually the engine has never displayed any graphical error even if I didn't used any "_D" texture.

So, does the "_D" texture is really necessary ?

as far as I know, the _D texture should be a low quality version of _D2.
