You probably won't have much trouble finding some people to work with, especially if you live in America. I live in Tasmania which is the bottom of Australia and I know of 4 other people who like to make games here and I'm close friends with only 1.

As far as I know, the games industry in Australia isn't huge and I don't think there's any game design courses in Tasmania and I don't have the money to move to Melbourne or Sydney.

Good luck!

my program wasn't that serious beginner stuff really. Id love to work with some peeps so throw me an email an we can work out communication ect and what to work on. as far as other engines ect Ill probably stick with db for a while its so much fun. I like not running into syntax errors.

I'm pretty relaxed but I can be super serious if I hit a wall I bang my head against it until it falls down.
