Could you provide me with more details about what's happening please?
If you can take screenshots of what you're doing, or a video then I should be able to provide a proper answer/solution for you.

I've created a menu in gui-x9 but I can't find out how to save it. There is no save button. Here's the image. If this isn't the kind of image that you were looking for then tell me what you need a screenshot of.

GUI-X9 auto saves your menu for you, you should be able to close the screen and make the rest of them, then once you've finished and click the exit button it will ask you if you want to apply your menus to one of your games or not.
If you decide not to apply them to your game then next time you load GUI-X9, it should ask you if you want to load your previous menus when you go to the menu editing windows again.

Well I just tried that and it doesn't let me close it. As in it comes up with an error instead of closing.

Being a programmer myself, you are going to need to let knxrb know exactly what that error message says. If you have Win7 then use the snipping tool to make an image of the error message.

Just a suggestion.

THEORY - you know everything but nothing works. PRACTICE - when everything works but don't know why. For me, theory and practice are combined: nothing works and I don't know why.

Alright, here is the image. Also, the same error pops up when I start up gui-x9 and many other things that are in gui-x9, just slightly different.

Seem like the program don't have permissions to write you need to make gui-x9 to run in admin mode.
