I wish to draw 3D lines on multiple cameras. When working with one camera there are no problems but when I try with different camera it simply ignores the other.

I use "d3d_init" After resolution change and after the creation of the additional camera views.

For test I simply use this:

But nothing shows when I fly around... Are there certain other conditions or things that must be set to draw the lines properly?

Thanks ahead!

No one? Perhaps I've explained it a bit weird...

I'm trying to render 3D lines with Cloggy's D3DFunc-library. I have it working perfectly when I use a singe camera view-port but somehow I cannot get it to work on additional camera view-ports...

Any help is much appreciated!

try using set current camera command before you draw the lines

Thanks Brendy boy,

I've tried to compile the code you provide but I get an error on this line:

It says, parser error.

I don't think I can easily share the code. Mostly is interface stuff with Bluegui and I've use the basic DBP commands to create viewports.

I used the 'd3d_init' command and the commands posted in my previous post, regarding the d3d_commands.

Edit:
I noticed your terrain and map creator (Looks fantastic, btw), I'm working on something similar to that actually. Do you also use D3DFunc?

comment all the lines with errors

i don't need all the code just the minimum amount of it that demonstrates the problem (possibly without any media)

no, i have my own plugin for stuff that D3DFunc provides

It pointed to all the 'd3d_text' and I commented them out. Then the parser error did not show any lines but still occurred.

I assume you used the plugin in your signature 'BBB Gui Plugin'? My current code is a restart (3 prototypes before this one) on a map editor, so I'm still at a stage that I can restart it again. Currently I use Bluegui for interface and use native code for functionality (with a little bit of Ian M's matrix). Any suggestions?

I'm always very reluctant to share my work... I will upload it and send you the download link if that's ok with you?

which version of D3DFunc you use?

Quote: "I assume you used the plugin in your signature 'BBB Gui Plugin'?"

no, that plugin is only for GUI. I have another plugin for dots and lines which provides is faster and easier to use

That's why i said to create something that only demonstartes the problem without sharing your precious code. But, if it's easier for you, you can send me the download link

I use: D3DFunc v3.7.1

Edit:
Sweet! Is that plugin available for others to use as well?

Wow, I feel a bit stupid now... I should have seen that.

Anyways, I thank you very much and if you need some help from me with anything you are working on, don't hesitate to contact me.
