I have dark physics and I can't figure out that stupid character box controller command.I tried sparky's and it just looked too confusing. The native DBP commands make sense to me, but are so hit or miss I can't depend on them (characters sometimes falling through floor, etc).
Is there any plug in or anything that will just stop my character from walking through solid geometry? I'm not a good programmer and I just want something that will work with no hassle.

I just need my character to be able to walk down some stairs and not fall through them.

Dark Dynamix if you just want to get on with it. It has the most reliable CC I've used so far.

If you want to learn how to create your own character engine; you could use kinematics in either PhysX wrapper; or get down to earth with Sparkys Collision. There are a number of Sparky character engines such as the one made by TheComet.

I'm still hoping for a command called "turn collision on and be done with it".

So many things that command doesn't account for.

Hi there.
Here we can find an old collision system that at first was made for DBC, but it works in Dbpro aswell and it works ok in rooms and corridors with 90xº. I hope it can help

Cheers.
