depends what kind of game your making, i think alot of people make an editor of some kind for making ceratin things easier, object placement for instance.

yeah, depends on what type of game your making,

and normally if i do make a map editor, i normally tidy it up abit and package it along with the game as a bonus

I always guess and check on object positions then realize it would've been muc easier with an editor type thing.


I wanted to learn C++ but then I started having nightmares.
I would scream at night, "AHHHHH!!! THE SEMI-COLONS"

I'm planning on making one for my top down game. It means i can split everything up into segments, and have all the events working and stuff. Plus, it means you can release 2 peices of Software instead of 1, and boom-instant Karma.
