Hello,

Does Tree Party plugin allow the following -

1. Load trees created using third party modeller like Evolves TreeIT ?

2. Can I apply my own custom shaders to the Tree Party trees ?

3. Does Tree Party plugin trees work with LOD plugin - Dark Imposter ?

4. Can I get access to each tree meshes or a group of them at run-time and manipulate them through code ? Are there any built-in functions for that ?

As far as I know, it has its own built in engine for this...

I would prefer I did not attempt to answer the others as I would likely be inaccurate, there is a demo you can download on the product page... you will see the trees at a distance turn into billboards... which is essentially what DarkImposters does...

For the most part what you are asking for is not what Tree Party was made to do easily. But that does not mean that you cannot customize it.

Tree Party is one of the most customizable DBP products because you are exposed to its code; but learning how to take control is an advanced subject in its own right.

It is long process to make what you want possible, it will take time and dedication to get Tree Party to work with Imposters, TreeIT and your own custom code. TP is older than the other products. Note that it also comes with a tree editor.
