Hello,

The dark imposter demo looks ok but the objects handled by it do not have any collision detection !

Is it possible to enable collision detection for the objects handled by Dark Imposter ? Or is it not possible to have collision working when objects are handled by the imposter system ?

Can Dark Physics act upon the objects that are handled by Dark Imposter ? Or is it not possible. Please confirm.

Thanks,
Brendy boy

dark imposters are just used for visual representation of the object. In memory objects are the same as any other object so collison detection for them is the same as in any other object

yes, i don't see why not

Can you please clarify your answer regarding the first question ?

Can Dark Imposter objects render shadows while the imposter system is active on the 3D objects ?

Can shader effects be assigned to Dark Imposter objects while the imposter system is active on the 3D objects ?

you st collison as you would for any other object, there's no difference between objects that are part of occlusion system and the ones that are not

i have no idea, i would say they can't. When object are in the distance they get turned into images - there's no pint in having shadows for objects that are far from the camera. When they are close they are just regular objects. Imposters get activated on the objects in the distance only.

yes
