Okay this is not good to have problems right out of the box. I just received my dvd of the Dark Game Studio. So I tried to install it and it says I'm using Vista when I using Windows 7. I was able to enter the keycode but every time I launch DBP I get and error message saying I need to copy into a location with write permission. Really need it to see the correct OS.I just hit ok and it goes past it. But before I start installing the rest should I find a fix for this? In the about screens it says the editor was built in 2008 and the compiler is version 1.07. I did the check for updates and it says its up to date. Any Ideas? I'll keep looking in the forum for older post. What are the current versions anyhow?
