I found this looking for an RTS tutorial and it looks really good but then suddenly stops (just like most of the DBpro tutorials i come across). Would anyone like to finish it up (or perhaps revise and modernise it in case certain bits of code dont work anymore)?

Im at a level where all the basic tutorials have been done, ive played around and found a few solutions to problems but now want to start on something a little bigger, and a nice simple RTS would be a great learning opportunity and it looks like a lot of time was spent on this and its a shame to let it be unappreciated simply because it isnt finished so if anyone can help finish this off (or write one; but please finish it if you do) then that would be great.

As I worked on my own RTS game, I maintained the tutorial along with it. I never finished the game, so tutorial was never complete. But as you can see, it's over 20 pages even incomplete. It's a big project. I'd like to finish it, I just don't know when it'll happen. I haven't done much with 3D in the past few years, I'm probably behind on a few of DB's newer features.

I might attempt one in 2D.

Im going to try and go through it and see if i can at least learn something from it, im sure i will. I just wish it just a little further to the point where one could start adding their own things as all elements were complete but never mind.

If you are doing one in 2d i would love to follow that. I think that would also be a fantastic learning experience. I will keep my eyes out just in case.
