Im trying to connect to rooms with the ventilation segments on the Sci-fi preloaded pack. However, when i use it, it either delets my wall or the segment gets blocked by the wall. Ive tried only painting the wall but it doesnt help either. help?

Lets just keep trying till we run out of cake~

hit the M key on the keyboard to just place walls.
