The idea of the project:
Information and game portal.
3D online shopping, delivery of goods.
3D social network.
etc.

    Implemented:
Engine 3D city with dynamically updated content.
The server side of the project is responsible for the information on the location and the client initially transfer location information coming players within sight.

The client side of the shop owners.
The client side of advertising.
The client side for free ads ..

the investor is only required financing drawing 3D models of buildings and characters.

There are many products that could be sold, in such shops.
+ plus a lot of people would have been able to open up their virtual shops that can not afford to rent retail space in the center of the city, I think so. Well, not at all enough real retail space))))

not a bad clip, but what it sounds like you are trying to achieve has already been done, a la SecondLife to name the most well known implementation. good luck with your project and financing goal.

Well as the good news is that it creates not only a real copy of the city in which I live and every other city can participate in this project. engine size of the world is not limited.

Already done a few game engines for this project.
This is a first person shooter,
Race,
Flight simulator on the plane & helicopter
Search for items in the city,
etc.

It's the insane idea, seriously. Customers want to buy suff in 1 click, not to play the game to buy stuff. Also I doubt that you manage to implement secure pay system.

That's only about shopping or other real services. Social may be fun and interestig.

I guess I do not fully understand.
the idea is not something to create a new payment system, and only implement online ordering system for product delivery to your home within the city. so this is not a big deal. and the third-party payment system to connect I think does not take much effort.)))

no. just walking around the city you can chat, play a game or go to a virtual store, twirl product in 3D and to order home delivery, and payment after delivery. (eg move into a pizzeria to order a pizza you can see)

well, or let's say in our city is a golf club. They spend a lot of money to create a panorama of the club to show on your site and I would like to propose, as an advertisement to a golf club in my virtual city in view of the game (there is no big deal)

or there are companies which organize paintball games.
they also spend money on advertising.
-Why do not they order the creation of a paintball game for promotional purposes under its brand in my town?

There are millions of ways to make money on such a virtual city that is a copy of a real city.

Why just don't make a website with merchandise in 3D? Unity supports in-browser rendering. It's better, and it's done. But why then nobody used that?

To all and there is always objective reasons.

I know a lot of different engines and programming languages, and in my opinion there is nothing better and easier DBPro.

Many things can be done on DBPro can not be done in Unity3D.

To that I personally do not like 3D in the browser.

Also there is good old software, called Cortona & ISB by Parallel Graphics. Just search for it and you will see, that 3D is needed for industrial purposes mostly.

By the way, what is better - to show full hd movie about golf club or force to download an app that may not work to see so-so 3d scene?

p.s. somebody here already wanted to make 3D browser...

p.p.s. I don't say that your idea is bad, you just need to find a vector to develop your idea further, to make your idea workable, cool and wanted. I hope that you make something intersting, cause there is already bunch of online social games (like DOM 2), but they all suck.

okay. I will try to explain in another way.

Is it easy to reach a large audience to place HD video on your site? to promote a site because the first - right?

Game resources to promote fairly easy especially with elements of social network based on the real city - I think there's no point in arguing.

Child playing golf in 3D may want to visit the real golf club and make a game with his father in real life.

And how to entice a child to the site golf club? (something he would look video)

@RUSSIA - Don't double, triple, or quadruple post, please!

And like has already been said, Second Life already fills this need. If your city wants to spend money to build their exact equivalent in Second Life, there's nothing stopping them. In Second Life you can build anything you want, and then you can even sell things and convert the money back to USD. It's really easy to use, and I even had my own casino and programmed some casino games in Second Life ages ago.

well, sorry.

according to your logic it is not necessary to write any more games by the fact that all possible gameplays already written. that is to say, what to write in the first person shooter if you already have UNREAL Tournament, it has everything you need for a shooter. sense then to do FPSCreator, if you already have UNREAL ENGINE.

And on top of everything else - all the things that I want to implement is not available in n Second Life.

If I were you I would make a online third person shooter game with magicians and magic wands in my own exact neighbourhood. Play like harry potter on your real backyard.

This is more like advertising than an alternative to online shopping. You fill your game with real shops and adverts and players come across them by chance. Is that the idea RUSSIA?

I'm not so big on the 3D social thing. I had a go with PS Home for a while but I found it very dull.

I had a simular idea for something like this and yeah its a great idea. Your best bet for investors is to have a good plan of action already created and then go and talk to a marketing firm or publisher and present your idea/plan.
