Just wondered if anyone else was having this problem, and if there was any kind of work around/bug fix coming?
The program I'm working on at the moment needs to do some fairly intensive analysing and processing of strings at several points. I've found that when used in loops that run many times over at high speed, several of the matrix1utils commands (ones I've found buggy include some of the fast left/right/upper/lower replacements, and also replace$ and replace all$) malfunction, and cause the application to crash with one of those infuriatingly unsatisfying 'Application has stopped working' error messages... Anyone else had this?

My apologies, I posted too soon, should have spent more time debugging!
The error I'm having occurs when the dbpro command find sub string$(source$, string$) is passed a blank source string! The confusion occurred because I altered part of the code in my program so it used Matrix1Utils instead of native dbpro commands, and only then started getting this error.
