Windows 7 and Dark basic pro problems solved at last...

With all the Windows 7 security measures, it will most likely stop you from using Dark Basic Online. However, here is a method to 'work around' there incredible 'security'....

When installing DB-pro, simply install it on your desktop. Then it will work fine, no security measures needed.

I simply lower my security settings temporarily while I code. No problems. Don't forget to raise the security when done.

Well, I've done that too, but was not able to produce a viable exe. program.

You can avoid all that by simply installing it on the desktop.

Just create a folder to install it in first. I named mine 'The Game Creators-(Desktop)'.

When it is installed there, the Windows 7 system doesn't perceive it to be a threat anymore.

DBPro always worked fine for me in windows 7. I just ensured none of my projects were in the program files folder. I keep all my projects in my documents.
