Does DBP come with a demo of cartography shop? Because I have what *appears* to be the full version (dbp just came today), along with a bsp compiler, and I don't recall ordering the cartography shop version with DBP, but it doesn't look like a demo either...am I just lucky or stupid?

DBP comes with a save-disabled version. If you can save as an .x then you are lucky.
